After graduating from Boston University and playing a year with the Canadian National team, Shane came to the UK to play his hockey. After seasons in London and Bracknell he joined the Giants where he made his home. Playing in six seasons for the Giants, he’s seen and done it all. In the 2004-2005 season under Tony Hand, Shane was named captain of the team for one year. Never a flashy player but always reliable will be how he will be remembered.

On leaving the Giants Shane played a few months down in the English Premier league before being picked up by the Sheffield Steelers.
