Rocket Rod Stevens, the fastest skater ever to lace up a pair of skates for the Giants team and one of the hardest working players. Rod won the league and the playoff crown while with the Giants and even through he came back to the UK to play the 06-07 season with Nottingham he remained popular with the Giants fans and showed up to play in the Todd Kelman testimonial. He remains one of the Giants great players.

After leaving the Giants Rod played a few years in Europe before returning to the UK to play with Nottingham for one year.
