It is not often you play a two-legged contest with both games away from home but I figure the Giants didn’t feel it worth hiring out the Odyssey for another night for a tournament that ranks lowest in their list of priorities this season. Yep the Giants lost their second game of the season last night to Coventry 4-1 in the Odyssey. It was also their first defeat at home all season. They won’t have time to think about it though as tonight they are back in action at home to Newcastle in the challenge cup. The Giants had taken an early lead against the Blaze and all looked to be going well but the Blaze stuck to their game plan of shutting down the Giants offensive game and found themselves coming back into the game and eventually winning it.
