The Giants lifted the Playoff crown for 2003 with a superb win over the London Knights. The Knights just wouldn’t go away and kept up the pressure on the Giants the whole game long as the Giants kept taking the lead only to see the Knights bring it back each time keeping the fans very nervous and on the edge of their seats. Into finals on penalties

What a game this one was. It was all action from the start as both teams took the game to each other as both sets of crowds tried to out sing each other also. Each side looked a little nervous and not wanting to over commit on the chance they might let in a goal espically with the netminders where Joel Laing and Ryan Bach and no team was likely to score two against the goalies when they where in the form they where in today.  Read More»

Giants into final four with a win

The Giants beat the Steelers 5-2 to book their place in the final-four playoff weekend in Nottingham. Goals came from Rod Stevens who had a brace with Riehl, Stewart and MacDonald adding third period markers to confirm the victory. The Giants outshot the Steelers 31-28 and Robby Sandrock was handed the man of the match award.

Belfast: Stevens, Thornton, Kuwabara; Kruse, Karlander, Matsos; Schulte, Riehl, Ward; MacDonald, C.Bowen; Stewart, Sandrock; Johnson, Kelman, Bach.
Scratched: Sorochan (Eye Injury).
