Good to go

February 2nd, 2008 by Ricky

Make no mistake about it, this is the game of the season, the one we have all been waiting for.  This is a must win for the Giants and if they do indeed keep their winning streak going tonight they will move three points ahead of Coventry in the title race.  Yes the Blaze have four games in hand but the pressure will really be on.  Even going into tonights game the Giants have the mental edge knowing they are top of the league now and that the Blaze are coming off a two-game losing streak. Ryan Shmyr (Not) Vs Carlyle Lewis (Bel)

January 21st, 2008 by Ricky

Watch Carlyle Lewis give Ryan Shmyr a bit of a beating. Shmyr got the take down maybe but Lewis did all the damage. Big win for a guy on real fighting form and really protecting his team-mates.

C-C Weekend for injury depleted Giants; Huppe Returns.

November 2nd, 2007 by Ricky

The Giants are going to need one hell of a big effort from those guys left with any kind of health on the roster to get them through the weekend with any hope of qualifying for the knockout stages of Challenge-Cup and the test couldn’t come any tougher. League leaders Coventry Blaze and ex-scoring champ Curtis Huppe are in town to face a Giants team without FIVE regular players, four of which are go-to import players. The irony being we could probably use Curtis more than ever yet some fans will still find reason to boo him no doubt. MORE »

Season Preview: Coventry Blaze

August 31st, 2007 by Ricky

This summer may already feel like winter but it’s not quite hockey time yet.  However, with the season only a few weeks one week away and without knowing how much blogging time I will have I guess it’s about time to look into the season and preview each of the teams with as much knowledge as I actually have of them anyway!  Next up it’s the Chavs Blaze: MORE »
