The Devils are in town tonight for a mid-week clash as the Giants look to keep their winning form going and stay top of the Elite League. Unfortunately because of the time difference out here I will be stuck in work and have to go by text updates only, unable to watch the live webcast. Oh well, if they win i’m sure i’ll be able to bare it. I can always take comfort in the fact that the N.H.L. gets properly underway tonight.

Team news

The Giants will be without Steve Thornton who serves the first game of his four game suspension. The suspension was reduced from nine game on appeal. Mark Morrison is also out with an injury but other than that the Giants will have a full team. Steve Thornton cannot stand behind the bench because of his suspension so will likely be on a phone to Rob Stewart who will run the Giants bench.
