We didn’t have to wait long for the first tilt of the new season.  New boy Carlyle Lewis showing the fans what he will do for them this season against Adam Stefishen of Edinburgh.  The fight came at 15:40 of the third period of the game and came as a result of a slightly late hit by Stefishen on Lewis along the players bench.

Lewis went straight after Lewis and the pair talked.  Stefishen was willing to go holding his gloves in his hand ready to let them go.  Lewis followed Stefishen across the ice talking with him before dropping his gloves and throwing bombs at Stefishen.  Both guys exhanged blows before Stefishen tried to wrestle Lewis to the ice.  Lewis stayed up caught Stefishen with one more before taking him to the ice.  Not the greatest fight ever but not a bad bout to start up the season.  Lewis certainly looks like he can handle himself.
