Saturday night saw the return of old boy Rod Stevens to the Odyssey ice.  Although playing for the Panthers this season it was nice to see him skating again in a place he created so many great memories.  In his time with the Giants Rod played 176 games, picking up 67 goals and 65 assists for 132 points along the way.  He won the Superleague crown in 01-02 and the Superleague playoffs in 02-03 with the Giants and was also part of the Giants team that played in the Continental cup in Lugano, Switzerland in January 2003.  At the time of writing he sits 5th all time in the Giants goal scoring chart.
